The Lies We Tell Ourselves (Quotes and Affirmations)

They say we tell ourselves lies every day. That by continously repeating them to ourselves we start to believe them, and we unconsciously manifest them in our lives. Things like:

  • I’m not good enough
  • I don’t deserve that
  • That’s only for smart people
  • I’ll never get out of this situation
  • There’s no solution to my problems
  • That only happens for Rich people
  • I’m not that lucky
  • My mind is the problem
  • People won’t believe me
  • It doesn’t matter
  • I’ll always be in debt
  • No one will ever Love me
  • I hate my job
  • I’ll never make it… etc.

When we say negative things like this… When we Speak/Think these things Into our lives, we will actually live them. What we speak and think will Manifest itself in our lives. I guess that’s why they say to be careful what you say and wish for.

We can change what we bring into our lives by changing what we say to ourselves. “Change your words and you change your world.” So here are some of my current top favorite 30 Quotes and Affirmations, that I see and tell myself daily.

“If we’re going to lie to ourselves, we should tell ourselves good lies that will lead us in the direction we truly wish to go.”

    Love your’s truly,

    1. Great post Karen. We believe there is complete truth in what you are writing about. The tongue is so powerful and often we use it to tear down rather then to build up. We believe it is important to speak to ourselves and each other with words of kindness.
