100% My Responsibility

Yes everything is 100% my responsibility.

No, I can’t prevent what someone thinks of me or what they choose to do.

They have a mind of their own, and a mouth to speak with just like I do.

They are of no importance to me, as they have no direct connection or obligation to me.

They do nothing for me.

And whatever they do or think is not my responsibility.

Because between two people who speak and think so differently.

I am only responsible for the one that truly impacts my life, which is me.

Words are words, and yes they are strong.

But, I think I’ll pay more attention to the one who knows me more.

No, I can’t prevent what someone thinks of me or what they choose to do.

But!

I can control the outcome.

I can control what I do.

Which says more about me, than what you will ever do.

I can control what kind of person I will be.

What actions people will see from me.

I do control what happens afterwards,

Because I am my own responsibility.

The word in its self gives me strength.

Because I choose how to “Respond” (Response)

and I possess the means and skills to do something with my “Ability” (variant of ‘ibility’.)

Responsibility

I can control my life no matter how difficult it may be.

I was not made to back down or be weak.

And believe me, I will Be the one to fulfill what was really meant for me.

Because everything is 100% my Responsibility.

And I can control me.

  1. I believe that we create our own realties to a certain extent so controlling oneself is part of that. In general people are far too busy minding other people’s business instead of being the best version of themselves. Thank you for a reflective and thoughtful post.
